		<description>Hi Tim,

Thnx for sharing the experience. Human errors are just what they are - human errors. In this case it somehow extends my thoughts of Twitter - a smaller and more social company.

Your question about what it would do with your business if you would lose your Facebook or Twitter account - I think it depends of the business, but you know what - there is always the phone and your addressbook somewhere right?

Don&#039;t get me wrong, I believe in the power of Facebook / Twitter - just check my blog about how I think Facebook will be bigger than Google + Amazon in 5 years: http://hhvo.wordpress.com/2009/05/19/the-social-web-is-like-the-offline-world-just-potentially-1000-more-effective/ I think I&#039;m more often scrutinized for my ideas about the power of social web than applauded ;)

But eventually it&#039;s about the things and achievements we all do in our real life. I mean - without a Twitter / Facebook - there will be another. I&#039;ve been asking that question lately - when and why will I leave Facebook for another social account somewhere? Although I haven&#039;t found an answer yet, your blog is pointing in the right direction I guess: MY OWN SPACE!

Currently I do have a kind of my ownspace on Wordpress ... but no ... that&#039;s Wordpress, they too can fall one day. No, I think within 5 years there will be more software that will allow to install your own userfriendly mashup platform. Then you can pull &amp; save all the things you also do elsewhere to your own server. But what if the server fails and it&#039;s RAID / NAS configuration ;)

Then we still fall back to the classic ways of communication - phone - mail - meetings - letters? Of course by far not so efficient as the social web, but still handles the essence of relationship building.

Bye,
